Last weekend Doug and I had the chance to hang out with Rob, Kim, and Julia. We went to a concert/fundraiser with them. Here are a few pictures from our adventure (mostly of Julia, she is soooo cute!!)
Oh how life changes! The joy of kids has changed the purpose of this blog a little, but now it seems to have more meaning! We miss all of you who are so far away and hope this makes it just a little easier.

Shane's visit to DC
Hi everyone! Labor Day weekend 2007 my friend from childhood, Shane, came up to visit me in DC and meet Doug. We had a great time. First we went out in Baltimore to see the dualing piano players and enjoyed a night of drinking at the Power Plant! Then we went to a University of Maryland (GO TERPS!) football game tailgate on Saturday afternoon. After the tailgate we headed down to DC to watch the Nationals beat the San Francisco Giants at RFK! On Sunday we headed down to Arlington National Cemetery and watched the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and then went out for Sushi! On Monday we headed back down town and took in the monuments and memorials and visted the Air and Space museum and then went to an Irish Pub for dinner. It was a wonderful time!
